2026–27 Grant Opportunities
United Way of Greater Greensboro invests in community partnerships that help individuals and families
overcome poverty, access opportunities, and move toward lasting stability. Our grantmaking aligns with
United Way Worldwide’s impact pillars—Youth Opportunity, Financial Security, and Healthy Communities—
and supports programs that strengthen a thriving Greensboro.
For the 2026–27 grant cycle, UWGG offers two competitive funding opportunities for nonprofit organizations
serving Greater Greensboro: Bold Goal Grants and Community Impact Grants.
Bold Goal Grants
Bold Goal Grants fund programs that help families increase income and progress beyond the Federal Poverty Level. These investments are designed to remove barriers, expand opportunity, and support long-term financial stability.
