United Way funds 70 programs and initiatives through 29 member agencies and partners. Each program and initiative must demonstrate that it meets a need in the community, makes an impact, and aligns with United Way's objectives.

United Way administers the Joseph M. Bryan Human Services Grant and Community Enrichment Venture Grant (CEVG), which are both open to any nonprofit in Greater Greensboro.
